Questions parents ask
What is Hour of Math?
Hour of Math is a library of short daily maths lessons from Classspace. Each lesson has a worked explanation, quick practice with instant feedback, and a short check, and a streak keeps pupils coming back every day.
Which classes does it cover?
Primary 3 to SS 3 (Years 3 to 12), following the Nigerian curriculum with UK and US options, plus Further Maths for senior secondary.
Is it free to start?
Yes. The first unit is free and needs no card.
How much does it cost?
A single unit is ₦500. A monthly plan for one learner is ₦1,500, and each extra child is ₦1,000 a month, so two children cost ₦2,500 a month.
Can I follow my child’s progress?
Yes. Parents can see each child’s progress, streak and completed units from the family plan.
Does it help with Common Entrance?
There are free Common Entrance readiness worksheets with answers across maths, English, quantitative and verbal reasoning, and general knowledge. They are original, exam-style practice questions, not past papers.
